Cookie Policy

Cookies & similar technologies

Last updated: July 2026.

This Cookie Policy explains how Lumen BI uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies on our websites and in the application, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What we use

We use a minimal, mostly first-party set of cookies and browser storage.

2. Strictly necessary

Authentication tokens, session state, CSRF protection, and security cookies. These are required for the Service to function and cannot be disabled.

3. Functional / preferences

Local-storage entries that remember your theme, sidebar state, last-used workspace, and consent choices. These improve your experience but are not required.

4. Analytics

Where enabled, we use privacy-preserving first-party analytics to measure aggregate product usage (page views, feature usage, performance). We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels.

5. Third-party services

When you load embedded content (for example, an OAuth sign-in popup from Google, or a PayPal checkout window), those providers may set their own cookies subject to their own policies. We do not control those cookies.

6. Your choices

You can clear cookies and storage at any time from your browser settings. Clearing authentication cookies will sign you out. Where required by law, we present a cookie banner that lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies before they are set.

7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We respect the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and treat it as an opt-out of non-essential analytics. We do not respond to legacy Do Not Track headers, which lack a common interpretation.
